Global key findings - Parents have high expectations for their child's education but many do not have a proper plan in place.

  • 95% and 88% are considering university undergraduate and postgraduate education for their son or daughter, respectively
  • 78% have a favoured occupation in mind for their child, with medicine being the most popular profession, followed by engineering and computer science. Income-earning potential and job security are the top reasons driving parents' preferences.
