24-hour Currency Exchange Service

We now offer on-line Foreign Currency Exchange Service to Personal Internet Banking customers. You can conveniently conduct foreign currency exchange transactions for amounts above the threshold and during service hours to meet your FX needs and help protect the value of your assets. Please refer to the services details below:

• Service channel: Transfers function in HSBC China Personal Internet Banking
• Service hour: Monday 6am to Saturday 5am (excluding public holidays in mainland China)
• Transaction amount threshold: 24-Hour Currency Exchange Service is only available for a single transfer transaction equal to, or more than CNY 120,000 or equivalent
• Currencies supported*: USD, EUR, HKD, JPY, GBP, AUD, SGD, CAD, CHF and NZD.

Remark:
1. You can conduct FX exchange transactions whose amounts are less than CNY 120,000 or equivalent via Personal Internet Banking. The processing cut-off time is 17:00 on working days.
2. Daily accumulative exchange limit: CNY 5,000,000 equivalent
3. Subject to the compliance of local laws and regulations, the Bank may include additional foreign currencies.

1. Real-time exchange rates fluctuate constantly. Please make your independent decision at the time of your choosing. The deal can not be cancelled once you accept the exchange rate.
