Personal Internet Banking Registration

What do I need to register?

To register for online@hsbc, you need:

• Phonebanking Number (PBN) and a Personal Identification Number (PIN). Or,
• Debit Card Number, Issue Number and Personal Identification Number (PIN).

Where can I register?

For customers who have a Phonebanking Number (PBN) and a Personal Identification Number (PIN) or an HSBC debit card, please click  here  to register for online@hsbc!

You will be entitled a 30 day period after self-registration, which is referred to as “Security Device Activation Grace Period”. During Grace Period, you can log on to Internet Banking session using your Internet Banking username and password only and enjoy part of our internet banking services. Meanwhile, a security device will be sent out to your correspondence address in 3 working days after self-registration. You will only be able to access full services, after you receive your security device and activate it. Once you have reached the maximum number of deferrals for activating your security device, you must activate it to continue accessing our Internet Banking services.

What hardware and software do I need?

• A computer with internet access

• A modem and a telephone line or other internet connection service like ADSL

• A browser - minimum requirements are Internet Explorer version 5.5 or Netscape Navigator version 4.72 or   above

• The online@hsbc screens are best viewed when screen resolution is set at 1024*768 or higher

• 'Cookies' and 'JavaScript' should remain enabled on your browser.
