Lucky Draw Terms and Conditions

  1. Anyone who successfully opens a Global Premier account from the lucky draw form with the Bank during the programme period, and meets the requirements of the Programme Minimum Total Relationship Balance on the Evaluation Date of the programme (“Programme Minimum Total Relationship Balance” means the aggregate amount of the deposits and investment products under all the accounts of the customer with HSBC China should not be less than RMB500,000 or its equivalent in foreign currency.) is eligible to receive a Limited HSBC Premier silk scarf gift.
  2. The current programme period is from (and including) [15 July 2008] (“the Current Referral Start Date”) to (and including) [30 September 2008] ("the Current Referral Termination Date"):
    First Evaluation Date: for any customers who open a Premier Account in the period from (and including) 15 July to (and including) 31 August 2008, the Evaluation Date will be 1 September 2008; Gift redemption notification date: 1 October 2008; Gift redemption deadline: 1 November 2008
    Second Evaluation Date: for any customers who open a Premier Account in the period from (and including) 1 September 2008 to (and including) 30 September 2008; the Evaluation Date will be 1 November 2008;Gift redemption notification date: 1 December 2008; Gift redemption deadline: 1 January 2008
    Important note: For customers who open a Premier Account before the first Evaluation Date, if they fail to fulfil the requirement of a successful HSBC Premier Account by the first Evaluation Date, they will be enrolled in the second evaluation automatically.
  3. Participants in this programme cannot take part in other programmes of the Bank at the same time.

  8. 1. A participant of this Programme must be a "Qualified Lucky Draw Entry". A "Qualified Lucky Draw Entry" means any participant who fills in the lucky draw form during the programme period. Each "Qualified Lucky Draw Entry" will be eligible to a lucky draw opportunity.
  9. The Programme runs from 17 June 2008 to 30 August 2008. The lucky winner will receive a limited edition Glazed Glass Chinese Dragon.
  10. By filling in the lucky draw form, the participant authorizes HSBC Bank (China) Company Limited (the "Bank") to pass relevant personal data to any member of the HSBC Group for purposes (such as promotion of businesses, services, or products) and all purposes relating to the Lucky Draw.
  11. The Lucky Draw will be conducted via an automated system in September 2008.
  12. The winner will receive notification in October 2008 and the gift will be mailed to the mailing address the winner provided in the lucky draw form.
  13. . Each participant has to ensure that his/her personal information provided to the Bank is true and accurate. In case of any change in his/her personal information, the participant should inform the Bank of such change in time. In the event that the Bank could not get the participant notified of the gift by 31 December 2008 due to the inaccuracy or change of the personal information provided by the participant, as a result of which the Bank fails to mail the gift, the Bank shall assume no liabilities therefore.
  14. . In the event of a dispute arising out of this lucky draw programme, the decision of the Bank shall be final.
  15. In the event of discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
