HSBC Premier Weekend Services
Which locations? What is weekend business hour？
Starting from 1 March 2008, there will be 13 more HSBC Premier Centers open on Saturdays to provide banking and wealth management services. At the same time, the weekend business hours for 9 existing HSBC Premier Centers (except Shanghai Regal International East Asia Hotel Sub-branch) will be adjusted to open on Saturdays only. Shanghai Regal International East Asia Hotel Sub-branch will be the only one to open on Sundays.

| From 1 August 2008 to 31 August 2008, HSBC China Beijing Branch will extend the business hours for the following five Premier Centers which will open on Saturdays and Sundays too: | ||||||

| Except for the Emergency Encashment service provided to HSBC Group customers， foreign notes exchange and encashment of American Express travelers cheque, the above 5 Premier Centers will not provide any other cash service on Saturdays or Sundays, including but not limited to counter cash withdrawal, cash advance on the counter, etc.. The specific services provided in weekends are as follows: | ||||||
| - Non-cash banking service, e.g. account balance inquiry, emergency support for HSBC Group customers, etc. - Wealth management services, e.g. wealth management product inquiry, etc. | ||||||

The above listed Premier Centers will be back to normal business hours from 1 Sep 2008. |
Why less locations open on Sundays?
Customer feedback received from the existing weekend service HP Centers reveals that most customers visit these HP Centers on Saturdays while customer needs of banking services on Sundays are very limited. To better meet customer needs and utilize the Bank resources, we will roll out Saturday services to 13 more HP Centers and adjusted weekend business hours for most HP Centers to Saturday only. However, for Shanghai Regal International East Asia Hotel Sub-branch, we’ll continue to provide weekend services on Sundays. In the future, we also plan to roll out Sunday services to more HP Centers who are located in Shopping Malls.
What services do we provide?
We will provide non-cash account services and wealth management service. Non-cash account service includes account opening /account information amendment / general enquiry. Our wealth management services will introduce you a range of suitable investment products according to your risk appetite.
