How do I open a Time Deposit online?

You can open a Time Deposit by transferring funds from an existing account with us. You have to access the 'Open Time Deposit' screen from the Time Deposits section, choose the type of deposit, term, amount and specify the account to be debited. You will then be asked to confirm the details you have keyed in. After confirmation, an acknowledgement of the opening of the Time Deposit will be displayed.

Can I set up maturity instructions?

Yes, you can set up maturity instructions. To do this, you have to access ' Set-Up/Change Maturity Instruction' on our Time Deposits section. Here, you can give instructions to:

1. Renew total balance (principal + interest) for a new term
2. Renew the balance only for a new term and withdraw interest
3. Add or withdraw funds on maturity
4. Do not renew. Withdraw the total balance (principal + interest) and credit to your selected account

Are interest/foreign exchange rates available?

Yes, interest/foreign exchange rates regarding major currencies are available under "Rates Enquiry". You can also use our currency calculator for conversion between two currencies.
