| Witness to commitment |
| HSBC Building has been pre-approved for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council for its base-build. HSBC’s selection of the site affirms the Bank’s commitment to reducing its operational impact on the environment. |
| Additionally HSBC has achieved LEED-CI ("Commercial Interiors") Gold certification for the outfitting and equipping of its office space. |
| This means that both the construction of the building’s core and shell and the completion of HSBC’s internal office space have addressed areas of human and environmental health; sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality.
