With the increased demands in trade, we understand the importance of providing you with efficient and effective tools to manage your trade business. This is why we have developed HSBCnet Trade Services, an internet-based system that allows you to initiate trade transactions and enquire on your facilities in addition to your outstanding documentary credits (DCs) and collections.
With HSBCnet Trade Services, you can apply for, amend and transfer DCs, and access an electronic copy of your DC online. You can also arrange bill settlement instructions and enquire on your trade account status online, from anywhere at any time.
These solutions increase efficiency, reduce waiting periods and allow you to start your manufacturing, sourcing and sales processes earlier.
Apply for import DCs or make subsequent amendments online. DCs can be created faster and more efficiently using saved templates, beneficiary lists and DC clauses. Save previously created beneficiaries or DC clauses into a beneficiary list or a DC clause list for future reference, and you can store different kinds of DC templates into the system for re-use.
Create import bill instructions in one go. Details of all outstanding import bills awaiting instructions will be shown, and any discrepancies in an import bill will be presented so that you can decide whether to accept, reject or settle the bill.
The full text of advised DCs are available and can be downloaded. You can start your manufacturing and sourcing processes earlier with real-time information. The DC can also be fully or partially transferred with the click of a button.
View facility information, including available credit and outstanding balances of all import/export accounts maintained with us, and monitor all transactions marked against the facility.
The following real-time detailed trade account information is available:
• Full text of DC issued or advised
• Outstanding and settled bills
• Shipping guarantees, airway bills and delivery orders
• Loans and margin deposits
• Expirations and due dates of DCs, bills and loans
• Account information
You may search for trade information by using search criteria such as a DC number, issue date or expiry date.
A variety of reports provide real-time, comprehensive and detailed information of your trade accounts, e.g. Import DC details reports, Export bills detail report, Trade facilities breakdown etc. Reports are available in txt format and csv format, enabling you to further process and control data as well as review and record.
