HSBC provides PRD-to-HK Express Remittance Service in our Pearl River Delta branches to give customer a safe, quick and convenient remittance channel to meet their urgent payment requirements, with a short turnaround time of 3 hours.

Geographic coverage:

• Remitting banks: HSBC Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Dongguan branches
• Beneficiary bank: HSBC Hongkong

Charge: No additional service charge on top of the normal TT charges
Turnaround time: Within 3 hours

Service Conditions

• Instruction received before 1:30 pm during working days at HSBC PRD and HK branches
• No currency exchange is required in the instruction
• All SAFE requested supporting documents provided (Checking a significant number of supporting documents may impact our ability to process the remittance in three hours. Therefore, in such cases we request your cooperation in providing documents in advance.)
• All the necessary payment information, including but not limited to Beneficiary Name, Beneficiary Account Number and Beneficiary Bank, are complete and accurate

• Please apply for this service with your account opening branch
• To use the service, please notify us by adding Express REM at the beginning of the Remittance Information filed
• For HSBCnet users, please input Express REM in the first Remittance information field
