•  HSBC's direct membership and linkages to the nationwide clearing system (CNAPS - China National
   Advanced Payment System), and alliance with five major local banks also shortens the remittance
   time for Renminbi across mainland China, which can be completed within 24 hours**

•  Customers can have immediate access to their accounts maintained with HSBC in mainland China, Hong     Kong or Taiwan for balance enquiries or transactions through HSBCnet

* Only applicable for HKD/USD remittances from mainland China to an HSBC account in Hong Kong or Taiwan between Monday and Friday. All supporting documents should be in place and have no need for foreign currency or Renminbi conversion or regulatory reporting or checking by the authorities. Remittance could be delayed due to document delivery between sub-branches and branches, or due to compliance checking by overseas banks. Please contact our branch for relevant terms and conditions.

** Only applicable to those payers who maintain an account with any branches of the five alliance banks and the beneficiaries must maintain an HSBC account in the Mainland.
